John Carter – the original one
In case you didn’t know ‘John Carter’ is based on ‘A Princess of Mars’ a 100 year old book written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I recently read the book for the first time and I was surprised at how much some of our most beloved sci-fi films (Star Wars, Avatar) have borrowed heavily from it. Anyway, if you’re a sci-fi fan what-so-ever you definitely need to read the book (download a free Kindle copy of it here) and check out the film which is looking better and better with each trailer I’ve seen.
‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ – trailer 2
I’m a few days late with this one but wow this is looking really good! I’ve always liked director Joe Johnston and really hope this is a hit for him. Maybe then they’ll let him make a sequel to ‘The Rocketeer’.
Symphonies of Mayhem – must watch Transformers 3 parody trailer
This parody trailer actually makes me want to see the film more than the official trailers. I was going to take a pass at it in the theaters but now I’m seriously rethinking it.
